Jamie and I first met in June 2001 and immediately found that we had some of the same goals (and many of the same friends, we still can't figure out how we didn't meet years earlier!). Over the course of the next year we decided to get married and made it happen on August 3rd 2002. Since our wedding we have made a new goal of being able to work from home for ourselves in an effort to spend as much time together as possible while raising our family.
At the time I was working for a major meat company here in Wichita and Jamie for a nation wide jeweler. We both decided to leave our current jobs a pursue our goal full force. It has not been easy and things are getting better with each day. I started Voyage Merchandiser (with her help) and she started a Mary Kay business. On January 27, 2003 she gave birth to our first child, Jon Ashton.
